Automated In-Motion Check-Weigher System
Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. (BSI) Fort Wayne has reached an exciting milestone with the successful installation of the first of two automated in-motion check-weigher systems. This project reflects our ongoing commitment to providing innovative weighing and automation solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Unlike static weighing systems, in-motion check-weighers are designed to capture accurate product weights while items move along a conveyor or process line. This technology eliminates production slowdowns and provides real-time data that is critical for quality control, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The Fort Wayne team worked closely with the customer to integrate advanced PLC-based automation, ensuring seamless communication between the weighing system and their existing production controls.
