Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. Install DD 1050 with Dual Screen Software

Dual Screen Software

A customer of Brechbuhler Scales, who ships bulk commodities by rail, purchased a second truck scale to accommodate the extra truck traffic. Before the second scale, trucks often weighed out on a different scale then they weighed in on. The customer needed to have a shared database of inbound truck weights. This would allow the inbound weight to be recalled even if the truck weighed out on a different scale. The solution was to purchase a DD 1050i scale terminal to accommodate both truck scales. The right half of the screen controls one scale and the left side of the screen controls the other scale.

The program is very simple and easy to operate. To begin the weighing process the operator presses the START button and the inbound truck is automatically assigned a Truck ID and the inbound weight is saved to be recalled later. An inbound ticket is printed with the Truck ID and inbound weight. When the truck is ready to weigh out the operator enters the Truck ID and presses the ENTER button. The inbound weight is then recalled and the complete weigh ticket is printed.
