Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. Fort Wayne installs DD 1050

DD Family

A B-TEK DD 1050 was installed in East Chicago, Indiana at an industrial gas company. Because of the unique application requirements, the customer needed an indicator which could be customized to their specifications while also providing an intuitive interface for operators. B-TEK and Brechbuhler Scales worked together to deliver a solution which met their need perfectly!

The purpose of the B-TEK DD 1050 Automatic Truck Filling System is to allow the operator to quickly enter the required information for a trailer that is to be filled. The operator is able to easily assign a Trailer ID and a Target Termination Weight through the operator interface. The operator simply enters the required Trailer ID and the Target Weight on the DD1050. With the assistance of I/O modules, the DD 1050 was also able to signal the PLC system when a truck is on the scale, when the truck is ready to fill, and when the fill is complete.
